In conjunction with Lodestone Sports, the leader in collegiate sports social media programs, Benedictine University Athletics has launched a social rewards program called BenU Social Rewards, making Benedictine the first Division III school to team up with Lodestone. Fans can show their support through a variety of social media platforms in order to gain points for prizes. BenU Social Rewards is brought to you by Jersey Mikes.
 
Through Facebook posts, likes, check-ins, comments and shares, Twitter re-tweets and hashtags and Foursquare check-ins, fans can gain points, which is tracked by the program to determine points and special promotion leaders. Fans can also redeem their points to earn cool prizes. Through BenU Social Rewards, Benedictine can create a larger awareness and reward their loyal fans.
 
Through the Benedictine University Facebook page (www.facebook.com/BenUAthletics), fans can also earn points by taking polls, signing up for promotions and printing coupons. There are grand prizes, such as roundtrip airfare for two anywhere in the US, an iPad and a BenU Athletics Package. In the future, athletics also plans to add more ways to gain points, add more mobile integration and allow fans to redeem their points for Benedictine University gear in the Points Store.
