Morgan, a native of Chicago, brings 14 years of track & field coaching experience to the Benedictine program. He joins the program after most recently serving as the assistant girl's track and field coach at Fenwick High School. Morgan worked with the long and triple jump group while at Fenwick.
Prior to Fenwick, Morgan coached at Leo Catholic High School, North Lawndale College Prep and Homewood Flossmoor High School. Morgan spent 5 years as the assistant coach at Leo Catholic High School. Leo captured the IHSA 1A State Championship in 2011 and 2012. Morgan spent 4 years at North Lawndale College Prep, working with their boy and girl's program. Morgan spent 3 years with Homewood-Flossmoor High School, for the girls track and field program. Homewood-Flossmoor captured the IHSA 3A State championship in 2019.Â
Morgan graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and minor in Business Administration. While a student-athlete for the Panthers, Morgan won the Long Jump at the 2004 OVC Indoor Championship meet, after returning from ACL surgery.

Morgan lives in the south suburbs with his significant other, Lateefah, and two children Mason and Zahara.
